Milcon Mailing Systems was founded in 1990 by the current Managing Director Mr. Andy Mills; with humble beginnings as a sole operator whom provided maintenance and rebuilding services for paper folding machines, the business soon flourished in the local Melbourne market.

With many local customers requesting options on inserting equipment and other unique one off mailing solutions, it soon became apparent that there was a niche in the market for more than paper folding machines, initially specializing in the acquisition and rebuilding of swing arm style inserters.

In 1998 continual customer dissatisfaction with larger equipment suppliers again demanded the evolution of the Milcon product offering, customers wanted reliable, robust, low maintenance and above all cost effective in-line folding solutions; with this in mind Milcon started development of what is now known as the eMax Intelligent sheet folding system.

2004 was a pivotal year with the partnering of the Swedish machine builder, Kalmar Mailpro AB. Milcon Mailing Systems became the sole dealer in the Asian and the Australasian region for the supply of integrated and factory prepared mailing systems.

Currently Milcon has customers in every state of Australia and an installation base with over 60 intelligent and non intelligent mailing systems. Expansion into the South East Asian markets continues with Dealers in Singapore, Malaysia, China & Japan.

Future strategy is aimed at delivering faster and more flexible inserting solutions to customers and more importantly keeping the formula of past successes.
